Antelope and Santa Clarita News, Blogs and Events
Summer and Fall 2020
Are you a wine lover and think you have to drive up to Santa Barbara to go wine tasting for the day? You will be happy to learn that about an hour away (some much less) are tasting rooms and vineyards where you can taste wonderful wines. Los Angeles is having a wine resurgence - yes wine was made here from locally grown grapes in Los Angeles over 100 years ago. That industry was paved over by the expanding of downtown Los Angeles. But it is coming back with enthusiasm and passion! Find out what is going on in your home town in the new hot wine industry.
Byron Blatty Wine Flights
Byron Blatty Wines sources from Los Angeles County Vineyards and makes his wine locally. He has awesome wine flights for you to pick up or have delivered! Of course bottles of wine too! I personally am a huge fan of his Rosé especially at this time of year - great fragrance and lovely hint of strawberry, green apple and soft pepper notes. By no means sweet, it's like a trip to the Southern Rhone Valley.
